When it comes to 2012…What are your opinions?
For those who don’t know, the supposed theory is that the world will end in some huge catastrophe by 2012…but there are others who think it will almost, have a “rebirth” if you will. What’s your opinion?

What I've read says that the Mayans predicted a great change in the world on 12/21/2012, not necessarily the apocalypse. (But, there goes humanity again, "Omg, we're all going to die.")
All this talk about the great conjunction makes me think of The Dark Crystal. In reality, it will last longer than one fateful Earth-day. I don't think we'll notice anything, whether or not the world comes to an end, if it does it won%u2019t last very long and there isn%u2019t much we can do as pitiful humans. Not even Kanye West could save us then. It's probably safer to assume that it won't end, and if the Earth goes careening into the Sun, I'm sure we won't have to turn in our D: college homework.
I know, completely unexciting. Reality doesn%u2019t really suit me either.

2012 is the end. The end of animalist behavior within the human species. If you think in carnivorous nature, such as the criminal mind, 2012 is a very bad thing indeed. If you think along the lines of planetary peace and irraticating tyranical thinking, then it would be a very good thing. Just like anything else, its completely relative to the observer and the level of consciousness the observer is at. Beast, Man, or Angel. Due to the nature of human thinking, fear has controlled how our anscestors have veiwed this event, Commonly called Judgement day. I my eyes it is a very good thing.

Minor technicality for Fin's comment. There is no evidence of a great apocolyptic change when the Mayan calender hits 2012. The only thing that is there is that on a certain day in that year the Mayan calender just ceases to exist. The Mayans predicted accurate science phenomina for generations in advance. Why stop at 2012? Personally I dont care since I will be 21 and living the time of my life with Dillon, my adopted brother of sorts.
